Jaw Pain

Often stemming from TMJ disorders, jaw pain has the capacity to restrict the regular functionality of the jaw, leading to feelings of pain and unease.

Treatment Options

A comprehensive assessment will be conducted by your designated physical therapist, involving an examination of the neck, thoracic spine, and jaw. Upon completion, your physical therapist will design a personalized program tailored to your needs.

Potential interventions for addressing jaw pain could involve:

​

  • ​Flexibility and postural strengthening

  • Relaxation and self-management techniques

  • IASTM

  • Dry needling

  • Manual therapy

  • Therapeutic use of ice, heat, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation
